Team Headshot Information

This page will help to explain how the day of the photoshoot will work for your company, and how we can make it go as easy as possible while providing this service to you!

BREAKDOWN

The photoshoot for each individual works like this. We will create a QR code that each employee will scan as they come to get their headshot taken, which will take them to a website where they will input their name & email. Then we will do the headshots and export the images where they will receive their gallery within about a minute of their shoot ending. And then onto the next person - it’s that simple! If you can produce a CSV file with each person’s name & email prior to the shoot, we can upload the file in order to avoid the QR code part to make the process even more streamlined. It is up to you on how you want to have everyone sign up.

This process will work for a team of any size! 12 people per hour is ideal, if only because people don’t feel rushed and it gives time to give direction and help with posing in order to get the best possible headshot for each individual. Some people will always get done faster than others, which will produce some extra time to spend on those who require it. The extra time is also beneficial in case individuals want changes after viewing the photos in their gallery (some try something different with their hair, add/remove a jacket, etc). A ‘do over’ would be easy to accommodate those needs and also makes sure that everyone is happy at the end of the day!

If it is necessary to squeeze more people in per hour, we would recommend no more than 20 people per hour, which gives each person 3 minutes total. This option makes reshoots almost impossible when shooting large groups, since it would be necessary to get each person their headshots before letting someone else redo theirs. If more is needed, a second photographer option is also available.

Finally, we can offer a white or gray background on site for the headshots. If you need a specific color to be in the background, or to match a specific background from previous headshots we can do that in editing at no extra charge.

RETOUCHING

The images look great right out of the camera as the lighting is optimized before the first employee is photographed. This is necessary as the images have to look their best because they are immediately sent out to each individual. That being said, sometimes individuals want the image to be polished further.

Retouching is offered in three different options.

• The first option is to leave it up to the individual employees to pay at $29 for each retouched photo. They would be able to select and pay directly from the gallery they receive the photos in.

• The second option is for your company to pay for everyone to receive one (or multiple) retouched image for each individual.

• The third option is to not offer retouching at all within the galleries if the company didn't want to purchase retouching, but also didn't want it offered to the individuals.

The galleries will be available for 4 weeks from the day of the shoot (this can be extended if necessary for $65/month). All retouched images will be uploaded to the individual’s gallery within 48 hours of selections being made. And all unretouched images that are uploaded to the galleries will be immediately available for download.

REQUIREMENTS

Reliable WiFi on site is required in order to export the photos to galleries. A minimum of a 10x10 space (10x15 or larger is ideal) is needed for the background, lights, and camera setup. We will also need about an hour prior to shooting to set everything up and about 30 minutes to break down the set. A minimum of 30 minutes for a lunch break would be needed as well if it is a full day shoot. Other than that, everything else will be taken care of!

PRICING

Pricing is determined by the amount of time spent on site, retouching option that you would like to go with, and if any extras are needed. An example of extras would be if a group photo is needed, or a specific composite done to the photos, or anything else that you would require to get exactly what you’re looking for!
